The wait is almost over, and I can barely contain my excitement—Bits N Bobs is officially becoming a reality in Santa Cruz! After lots of planning, dreaming, and a bit of elbow grease, we’re getting ready to kick off our creative reuse journey right here in our community.

I’m currently waiting for approval from the Santa Cruz Public Library system, and once we get the green light, we’ll be hosting our very first exchanges. The idea is simple—bring in your unused craft supplies, share them with others, and take home new goodies for your next project. A true treasure hunt of creativity!

At first, these exchanges may be a little more low-key as we gauge interest and get the word out. But trust me, this is just the beginning! We’ve got big dreams, and with your support, we hope to grow into something amazing. Our ultimate goal is to secure a permanent space where the magic of creative reuse can thrive year-round.
