In this store, people are free to take what they need, and if they choose to pay, they contribute only what they can. The simplicity and generosity of this model spoke to my soul. I envisioned Bits N Bobs not just as a place to exchange craft supplies but as a vibrant, permanent space that embodies the values of sustainability, creativity, and inclusivity here in Santa Cruz.

The only price tag is your creativity. Need something? Take it. Want to give back? Contribute what you can, whether it’s a monetary donation, supplies, or your time.
Bits N Bobs would thrive on community support, with a “pay-as-you-can” model that ensures everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to the materials and tools they need to create.
